Grading…

I try and grade conservatively to avoid any unpleasant surprises. If you receive any item that you feel I over-graded, just return for a full refund. Since grading of any kind is very subjective, use this as a guide as to how I grade. Non-displayable portion of items will only be noted if I feel it is warranted.

 

Grade	Description
10	No damage to subject matter or face of item (Mint). May show insignificant harm to non-displayable portion of piece.
9+	Shows very minor or insignificant harm to subject matter or face of item (Near Mint).
9	Shows minimal harm to subject matter or face of item (Excellent +).
8+	Shows harm to be minor and to be a very displayable item. Above average condition (Excellent).
8	Shows some harm to face of item but still displayable. Average condition (Very Good +).
7+	Shows harm to subject matter, but still displayable to the average collector (Very Good).
7	Displayable item but has damage and should be considered as such to the advanced collector (Good).
6+	Shows damage and should be considered a piece to be upgraded (Fair).
6	A filler for specialists (Poor).
