An original pre-prohibition lithograph featuring one of the pretty ladies Stegmaier used to advertise their products in the very early 1900’s.
Another attractive lady, copyright 1911, compliments of Stegmaier. Although quite scarce, I believe this to be printed during prohibition or shortly thereafter. Copyrights sometimes are much earlier than the actual production of the item.
A 30’s or 40’s celluloid covered stand-up 9 inch button sign manufactured by Bastian Brothers of Rochester, NY who executed a mass of collectible celluloid advertising in the 30’s and 40’s. This appears to be foil covered cardbaord under the celluloid. The advertising is in bright red and gold and is very much like a tap knob insert. |
